That´s not an african spider, it a pseudospider that belongs to the order Amblypygi, you can find this animals in all the tropics even in the south of the US, also they may look ogly, but actually are full of proteins.

Actually, it's not a spider at all. It's a whip scorpion and has many species. Do a Google Image search on "Whip Spider" or check out Episode 2 of David Attenborough's "Life In The Undergrowth" to see it in action.

And killing animals in that way (of any kind) is just pathetic and hearltess. That's just not right.
