History Classes
Well Mel Gibson never took history classes. Many things of this film aren't true since the Mayans lived in an epoch in which not even Columbus' great grandfather was born. No european found a living mayan. Mel is trying to represent the Mexicas' civilization in another location with the Mayans appearance.
It is not a bad comment it is just a fact against ignorance.

  Much rather have watched a movie on the Mayan Civilization though. They were far more interesting in my opinion.
  By the way, according to the Mayans as well as the Egyptians and Nostradamus they all predict the end is near, oh lets say 2012. So live it up people, live it up.
