Before American starts to help restore freedom in other countries shouldnt it start with itself?
By bickie 1189925069for the world during 2nd World War. Nazism/facism was spreading over the continents, strangeling the freedom of all. And had it not been for USA the fight might have been lost.
Today it seems USA has changed its mind about freedom. And with armies all over the world, USA's allies start to worry.
If this bad developenment continues, who will we turn to? China? Well at least the Chineese government seems to give _more_ freedom to their people these years instead of less.
I hope the American public will turn the last few years questional leadership around, and once again be able to be proud of who they are instead of who they were.
...about WW2 - it looks like USA was standing aside minding their own business and then decided to do a favor for "some guys" just for the hell of it. Well no, USA fought for themselves, not to do someone else a favor. Yes, the Europe might have been lost without the USA, but what would that bring to them? A chance to face all those nazis *alone* (or even Soviets if they would have "liberated" the Europe themselves) and during the '40 the USA wasn't the superpower it is today. So please stop presenting it as if US involvement in WW2 was a boyscout's charity work - Americans of that time knew they were next if they didn't join up.
By SilverJackLeg 1190111521Adrenaline-junky, you are talking about the alleged finding of a few (16 or 17) shells with expired sarin found in July, 2004. That in 1999 the Pentagon announced that it could not account for $1,000,000,000,000.00, it is understandable that the Iraqi government could lose track of less than 2 dozen expired shells. And had they been viable (i.e. containing deadly sarin as opposed to degraded sarin) it would be irrelevant to the case of war to anyone with the remotest sense of justice. To help you out, look up "post hoc argumentation."
Oh, and the claim that Afghanistan is going swimmingly does note even rise to the level of a joke. There is reporting on the subject, and that reporting is of failure after failure.
Time for you to start reading a little something more than right-wing blogs.
Screw you if you dont have the balls to fight for your own.

By pedrillo 1190149940Black people are not even allow to vote in the U.S. how free is that?? (i.e. election 2000) Freedom is only for the whites.
War in Iraq has nothing to do with religion and nothing to do with Osama Bin Laden since he's in Afghanistan. It's all about $$$. Besides oil & drugs, George Bush is also part owner of a company that supplies military equipment to both sides of the war. This war is not meant to be won, but to maintain as long as possible in order to make more money.
.. he should have overturned the right to bear arms... maybe then America will start to become a nice, safe place to live in.
How many thousands are killed there with firearms?
How many more wounded?
How many more been threatened by them?
How many MORE live in fear of them? Almost all I guess as almost all feel the need for one!!!
the 2nd amendment. they are taking away the right to defend ourselves and our families
By xbikerbobx 1189901178There were WMD`S in Iraq in the 80`s the US sold sarin gas to Saddam and he ended up using it against the Kurds and killed 5000 people, The press in keeping the truth about Afaganistan because things are going very well there.
As far as Iraq is going you will almost never get any good news about the positive things going on there, 1100 news schools several universities and collages, Factories and excellent new oil facilities and the spreding around of oil reveneues to the Iraqi people, They don`t tell you about this stuff.
there was confirmed use of WMD's in Iraq. Does anyone remember the sarin gas incident in 2004? Numerous Soldiers and Marines were treated for exposure to this Chemical Weapon classified as a WMD after it was used in multiple IEDs.
You don't hear about this because our media won't tell you. The media is keeping all the good things we have achieved in Afghanistan and Iraq from the people of this country. That's why you don't hear about Afghanistan anymore, because the country is doing great because of what we did for them.
As long as the 2nd Ammendment rights are protected, we can protect everything else through that.
Do you hear that Bush? I hate you!
