That is very kool. Although mythbusters kinda proved that you can't walk on water, I think those shoes could have definitely helped you get across a swamp...

To the guy who stated the weapons resembled Gardening implements......How close to the truth you are.
I understand the Only people during these periods who were actually permitted to carry bladed weapons were infact The Class Of Samurai Warriors....Civillians wee not permitted dispite piretes yes pirates.
So alot of the civillians may very well of been driven underground and possibly sought in the use of everyday use objects they could use...See how some of those weapons resemble garden tools alike the kusarigama sickle....Amazingly looks something like you would chop down long grass more perhaps corn.
And the Japanese have never been illogical people yet they use alot of logic and science even in fuedal japan,We can see from some of the ancient arts they used science.
They understood the relevance of blending in with the elements be that at night or even the snow.
The Ninjas clothing for winter would of been more padded.
As for the Samurai he would of worn Fur like boots And thicker more padded Haori/Yukata.
