This usb machine can be made with Mini dvd disk,pc fan,usb cable,laser. Very easy to do .Laser can destroy bacteria and fungus in the air .Its very effecitve way to clean the air. Also this machine make very good special usb lamp.

Question...
Wouldn't the lasers need to generate heat to kill bacteria, or would the UV light they emit be sufficient?

- depending of the power of the laser
  the laser would have to be very powerfull to kill bacterium and fungi. im guessing above 50mw - not spinning, just on a focused dot. your average laser pen is less than 5mw. good video.

maybe 1-2 lasers and several mirrors instead of 4 would have made it more ingenious, low-cost and more spectacular without missing the initial purpose - air purify

if the whole point is to purify air using laser pointers, then why limit the range with the 2 liter bottle? Jus buy a lot of laser pointers and place them around the house.

The point of this video is to show how amazing this invention is , but don't worry about the laser power :) if you can see the laser in the day light it is powerfull enough to distroy unicellular bacteria :) plus you just shoot the darn nuclueus and its dead :P
btw loup you should of let it spin it would of worked 100% better

  I build a burning laser flashlight following kipkays video, it's using a 200 mw laserdiode. I can (if properly focused) light a match in seconds, but it still isn't visible in daylight.
