They issue these locks in the military. It is a fun game to kick them open, remove all of your buddies equipment, and then wait for him to discover the theft.

OR: invert the rank on his uniform. He won't notice... until someone asks him what his malfunction is. Very fun.

This will only work with loose locks. I have a Brinks padlock, and the tolerances are so tight that even the thin metal of the popcan can't get in. I notice there's a notch in the far side of the slide as well as on the side that opens. I'm thinking that there is a bearing there that would need to be opened as well. The cheap combination lock would probably be a best case scenerio for this trick.

I've made literally ten of these and I can't get it to work. I have the same kind of lock and my can thing looks exactly the same.
