the most important thing is tha the surface of the water has to be completely flat!
if you try that at the sea instead of the lake and it's a litle bit windy too...you can't do more than 10-15...

  The national championship is held in Mich on Lake Huron And I have thrown 30's in rougher waters, I also hold the record for high number on Huron of 33 before we lost sight. Using a heaver stone helps. in real rough water it's tough..
