Become Harry Potter of Mathematics. In 5 mins reprogram your mind to calculate faster than the Calculator itself. Impress others with your super-fast mental mathematics.
are the best at teaching math and economics. Many of my professors are Indian. They can teach pretty well, but sometimes they are hard to understand....lol
By ktastic 1188681698This guy does a great job of speaking slowly and clearly where you can understand him. Great trick, keep it up.
By PatrickJordan 1192745241man that was great if a 1times 7std. failure and 1 time 8 std failure and 1 time 12 std failure can get it right then everybody can, i wish u had been my maths tutor in my school and collage days.
(104 times 100) plus (104 times 4) =10400 plus 416 = 10816
By motheman 1188497359(104 times 100) = 10400
(104 times 4) =
(100 times 4) = 400
(4 times 4) = 16
Similar concept as the video. Divide and conquer. Your approach applies to more general cases though. It will work with any multiplication.
not to mention, very educational... it beats listening to my math teacher...just keep posting additional instructional videos... you have one attentive student in here...

Keep them coming! :)
Just curious, how do you find out about these tricks?
come on guys! have you ever heard of binomials?
(a b)^2 = a^2 2*a*b b^2
always;)
as simple as that
is ( a + b )^2 = (a)^2 + 2ab + (b)^2
therefore (104)^2 = (100 + 4) ^2
= (100)^2 + 2(100)(4) + (4)^2
= 10000 + 800 +16
= 10816
Your formula is better,
the one on the video is great for mental calculations but only for numbers around 100.
Yours is good for all numbers, althought for numbers around 100 the formula from the video might be easier for a few people to work it out mentally.
Thanks for the formula, keep them coming!
Salut!! :)
I S**k in other matters, just focus on your own talents and make something great out of it.
By the way, by failing Algebra you actually learned something about math, keep learning. :)
this method is simple and good. What software you used to record this video?
By venkat65 1237009751You are a REALLY good teacher pal. I'm learning a great level of math from you. I would defintely love to watch more of your videos. :) Also, I'm 18 and am so, not meant to be interested in maths. Lol.
By james_parker 1207775307a= 100, b=0, c=4 a^2 c(2a c)
(a b c)^2 = (a b c)(a b c)
a^2 2ab 2ac b^2 2bc c^2 (general cross-wise method) b=0 so
b(b 2a 2c) c(2a c) c^2=a^2 c(2a c),
test it out
4(200 4) 10000 = 816 10000 = 10816
real smart, thanks for posting good videos here..wish there's more like you in my university..but most employed are very bad in english
By rugby1029 1188992819are great at mental arithmatic
they don't have calculators yet.... well.. only the very rich indians (rich compared to the average indian income)
Dude, you rock. This is going to be a huge help to me this year while I'm in Algebra 2!
Keep them coming!
i am so disappointed because it only works for 104^2!!! try others like 214^2 or 312^2 it doesnt work!!
By kennlim 1210843903I like your voice, It has an Omar Sharif quality. very clear.
By coping 1188627706I dont mean to be at all racist but i cant understand this guy. i only caught the first bit but only because it was also in text
By Shadow Sillouette 1188523726even though you don't need calculators if you were trying to mentally multiply, you will need to have it for something like trigonomatry.I'm gonna keep my calculator for now.Lol
that I made my fingers faster than my brain... My calculator and I have a long long relationship. :P
By Krazeel 1188471849This would have been useful 30 years ago when I was in school. Where the hell were you?!!!!!!
