idea but kinda cheasy.
And i agree with xylonz electrical tape si not meant to conduct electricy, thats why you wrap faulty wires with it

You are wrong at the eletrical tape thing and you didnt complete the circuits. How the charge will flow to other batteries if you only connected the positive sides?
