I filmed this from my back window. (in Auckland, New Zealand) it was amaizing to see - Ive been told that the suns light going through the dust in Earths atmosphere is what makes the moon go red. cool!

Thanks for sharing. I tried filming it from Northland, New Zealand got a little speck. Time for a new camera I think!

  cheers for watching:) yeah I was lucky to be able to borrow a canon xl1 for the night- I dont think anything under 3ccd could capture in the dark like that.

  The poster was referring to the moon going red, not the darkening of the moon (which is, of course, because the Earth's shadow covers the Moon)...
