Comaro is nice but not all that great against a Corvette.

Of course the corvette was built to actually drive...i.e. get the power to the road so it can outperform any camaro any day...not cut donuts

Hey TopF not cutting you down but i'm taking it your not a gearhead, to say that the Corvette can out perform ANY CAMARO ANY DAY..... that is a very big statement that well anyone that is into muscle cars knows in totaly not true, I would put my 67 up against any vette anyday.

Fair enough - rather i should've had said, stock a corvette will out perform a stock camaro. Plus the corvette was designed (rather the C5 and C6 corvette) with the super car mindset. It is designed to be fast but also handle excellently making it ideal for street courses. The camaro, on the other hand, was never designed to handle like this - in its glory days the camaro was an excellent drag car but not designed for excellent cornering...

when has America ever built a car that can go round corners properly, sure in a straight line they're fast, but as soon as it hits the bends you've had it.

It took Ford, huge amounts of money to get the the Ford GT to beat a Ferrari 360 and thats not even the quickest Ferrari.
