Learn how to use household chemicals to make spectacular fire effects similar to those used in many films.
Can the boric acid be powdered?
As well, can potassium chloride be mixed in with the methanol to make a purple flame?
And what about magnesium sulfate for a white flame? or lithium chloride for carmine flame?
I ask because I use these for coloring flames in the fireplace, but would like to make quick moving flame trails.
Dude you rock, I was expecting some beginners S**t like powders etc... This was amazing, you deserver more views!

will it leave any marks on painted concete floor? and how long can the flame last?
By bluepen 1194140789 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI wouldn't try it on anything that is painted b/c the dried paint may ignite depending on its composition, producing a hazardous situation.
By HouseholdTech 1195780567 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveVery cool but I dont need special alcohols to make a yelow flame!
By rimlanin 1190637857 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis technique allows you to create a quick moving flame trail effect. Also, the alcohols burn cleanly and won't leave a sooty mess on a concrete surface.
By HouseholdTech 1191908211 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTHATS FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!

By funnyO.ocolors 1188743294 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt turns out that there are quite a few different ways to end up with different colored flames. It's always nice to have more than one way to achieve the same result.
By HouseholdTech 1188755766 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveOr you do it in Adobe after effect 7 pro
By Editiger 1188684908 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt always looks more realistic and is more fun to do when you use real fire! :)
