everyone knows that if you're gonna drink something on fire, you should cover yourself in gasoline and finish the job

I've done this, you have to put it to your lips and swallow it to not get burnt (taking away the oxygen to the fire I guess)

OR

Just blow it out before you drink it.

Besides, your burning away all the alcohol when you do this.

If it can go wrong...it will go wrong. In this case it did. I wonder just how badly hurt he was. I've heard one big danger do this or any fire eating stunt is for the fire to go into the lungs. Lesson here.
