    I am a paramedic and i was at that game. First off you can see in the tape that bertuzzi did knock out that little b@stard and as he went down Bert grabbed his jersey to stop slow him down and when he hit the ice Bert tried to protect his head. And secondly see how your neck feels after 10 guys jump on it. There is no way that any one can say that Bert broke Moores neck because there is no proof. Watch the video. There is proof that he knocked him out and that is all. Moores neck broke when he was dog piled. Not from Bert. Watch the tape. Why do you think that Moores lawsuits keep failing? Becuase there is no proof. Bert is just being used as a scapegoat. Moore got what he deserved

      People love sports because it's a test of one's skill, put into a team's skill, and to go up against another team, from another area, to test their strength [I'm NOT re-reading that, im assuming it makes sense and you know what i mean]. Part of this is the instant karma someone gets when they break the rules, helping create a 'Just' society. His neck might not have broken from the punch, but if i were on the rink [14 years experience] and one of my players were to get hit like that, i wouldn't care. What he did, and what his coach probably told him to do, devalues sportsmanship in a sport already accused of having none at all. And yes, he got what he deserved for being a good player. As a paramedic you see you're view of rationalism of what happened. As a player, i understand the honor of the game. So i suppose this is the pov of someone who plays hockey, or anyone on that rink.

      the guy just received the biggest suckerpunch, little bitch move ever and his neck broke. hes lucky to be alive, his career is over, and might not ever walk again. it could've been the punch, the impact with the ice, how his neck twisted while he was sliding on the ice, or the dog pile that could've broken his neck. the point is that bertuzzi is responsible for what happened and that was the most cowardly thing i've ever seen anyone do. he couldn't be a man and atleast have moore FACING him before hitting him. no, he's gotta be a bitch and nearly kill the guy. your saying the dog pile broke his neck and that may very well be true. only God knows. but who started it. you think 10 guys would've piled on him had bertuzzi not thrown that punch? he was responsible and should be banned from hockey. and how the HELL did moore deserve this? he could've DIED. your a paramedic you should know that. please elaborate on this because i dont keep up with hockey that much and i dont know the story leading up to this incident

    First of all, i would like to say that, moore is a usless piece of S**t and he deserved what he got! Secondly, a "foul" in hockey? Don't think that makes sence. Good thing those well educated comments picked up on that. You shouldn't judge something without knowing the story, and also knowing the game of hockey, you bum jabbers

    He should not be in hockey anymore. This was not an isolated incident for him. He has behaved in this manner dating back to junior hockey.
