Don't get me wrong but you really should'nt be worred about nukes. No first world country still develops or tests them. They are now purely a political statement. North Korea and Iran would using them would be a big problem thought, but if they do they will be small ones like the ones dropped on japan. Because of radiation produced by the bombs the are now required by law to test below ground. And they wouldn't put all that work into making a law just to quit testing.

what i was thinking. astronamically, we are young. the power we could create in a thousand years from now (if we increase at the same rate) would be able to wipe out our solar system. humans are dumb... at least some of us know that much.

the question is, will we ever get to a thousand years? if you ask me, some smart (dumb?) scientists will create something new that will wipe out our whole planet on accident. maybe a mini black hole?

we do have people working with anti-matter. they only have a few atoms of it, but just a few ounces ( if i remember correctly) would be enough to launch a space shuttle... what if they had a few hundered pounds of it, go off at the same time.... this planet would be erased from existance. though it would take almost an infinte amout of time to compile that much at the rate we can now.

Luckily, the antimatter they create is highly unstable, takes huge amounts of energy to create, and when introudced into anything other than the vacuum it was born into, i.e. matter... they annihilate each other.

but isn't the process of annihilation extreamly violent? such as; a few ounces of anit-matter annihilating a few ounces of matter release enough energy to launch the space shuttle... i read that somewhere... but yeah, actually using it and focusing the energy i'm sure is near impossible.

I've actually read something about that in "Popular Science" or something like that. They say that they have created tiny tiny black holes that take in tiny particles, but I don't know. I think it's a little crazy. We don't know much about black holes except they S**k stuff up. It's kinda sad... We've progressed so much (humans) but there's still so many simple things we don't know.

We do know quite a deal about black holes! We do know for instance that they don't "S**k up stuff". Black holes are not like plug holes in your bath tub or sink.

Also, if it were the simple things we did not understand, I doubt they'd call them simple.

Read a little before posting such nonsense. The sun is 4.57 billion years old, and the earth is 4.54 billion years old... That means it "actually" took 30 million years for the earth to form after the sun was formed.
OTOH, is that an argument to support mass destruction? Just because you'll be here for only 80-90... 130 years, maybe, doesn't mean you shouldn't care for what you (as a human and as part of a society) are leaving for the ones that are coming after you...

we already have the power, and have the nukes already, does anyone study anymore on wars and what they can do these days, they could wipe out cities and all, create waves from the ocean just from one blast that could wipe out millions of places, we have not seen nothing yet, but one day could happen today we could be gone in an insteant,just from one blast, the younger generation needs to start reading on these things , and older ones also, we could be hit just by a metater rite and if it hit the ocean could wipe out many states if large enough, anything can happen any time,

A hydrogen bomb is not the same as an atom (nuclear) bomb. The simple way the hydrogen bomb works is that is highly compresses , well, hydrogen, and super heats it, until it creates a massive explosion. The fine line is, while a hydrogen bomb produces a much larger blast radius, and atom bomb leaves effects that last for decades (exp. Hiroshima). So yes, a hydrogen bomb is different from an atom bomb.

it could be mounted behinde reenforced walls. i mean, look at the house, it got blown down by wind, not incinerated by heat. a few feet deep of steel or concrete pilings and a reenforced steel or concrete wall would do just fine.
