MOUNT A CAM ON THE SHAFT TO LIFT THE MAGNET IN SYNC WITH THE MAGNETS.
THEN YOU WON'T NEED TO LIFT THE MAGNET THE CAMS WILL DO THE WORK FOR YOU.

GREAT IDEA.

You could turn this into something good, if you get a motorand hook it up to the thing that is spinning then make that connect to a peace of meteal to create electric impulses you could really get that started

There is a chance this could be used to make electricity, it's not perpetual because by bringing the fields together you slowly breakdown the magnets. It's really just packed with potential energy, wouldn't run forever but might run for very long time.

With all due respect, Perpetual motion machines doesn't exist until this day as they defy the laws of physics known to man.

Maybe add more weight to the wheel to enhance the flywheel effect, and remove the fifth magnets before the gate.

Put the magnet on a little arm and have like a cam or something on the wheel that will push the arm away when you get to the gate so you wont have to hold the magnet and it will still get pulled away at the right time.
