Producers' Commentary - Lester, played by Silas Weir Mitchell ("Haywire" on the hit show "Prison Break") celebrates the burning down of a Women's Health Clinic. TV Reporter, Don Deetz (Jason Wiles) covers the fire bombing and interviews the Prosecutor, Eric Manion (John Dye) and Reverend Matthew Brewer (John Prosky) about who might be responsible for the fire. This scene is based on the real fire bombing of a Women's Clinic in St. Louis.

  • Great Background info! :)

It's always interesting to hear the background info of how a movie is made! I didn't realize the cameraman fell by accident, it looked great in the scene and I liked to see the fast thinking of Jason for that scene. I also think the tag like of 'Donny Deetz on the Street' is funny and makes you wonder where all these news reporters get their knicknames! :)

  • improvisation and synchronicity

That must be the test of a good actor- the ability to improvise. In all art I think. In writing too. I think - to let chance enter into one's expression- although gong over a text one has written, one can spot areas of blandness and often turn them into a much better piece- improvisation in the moment too lends magic that is not always understood. Where does it come from?
And synchronicity - when timing of our reactions to events correspond to coincidences that reinforce " we were meant to be here" - from where or what do we attribute that to?

    A higher intelligence?

    An interesting topic i think...
