Producers' Commentary - Mike and Diane have spent all of their savings opening the very first video rental store in St. Louis. To keep the store going Diane asks her father Rudy (Conrad Bachmann) for a loan. NOTE: This scene was deleted from the movie to keep the length under 100 minutes.   • Great Casting + Scene! :)

    Like I said in my previous comment, I think this scene is excellent! It is very well acted and truly shows the hard choices, how they end out and how sometimes you have to swallow your pride to ask for help and how extremely hard it is for both sides. I think it should stay in the movie, not just for the dilema, but seeing these great character actors make the film richer! :)
