Some magicians use animals, they exploit the 'aura of mystery' reserved for the profession's 'trade secret', and hide the misery of their fellow entertainers.
Doves, their wings clipped and dyed, kept in lowly conditions, hidden in small places, crushed, stressed out, tied in sharp nylon strings cutting through their flesh and tossed in the air reputedly.
The movie 'The Prestige' (2006) portrays the terrible treatment given to birds in the last century. unfortunately, some 21st century magicians still live in the past.

    The makers of this video obviously have no idea how doves are handled by magicians, especially the professionals. This is verified by the text description offered with the video. I'm all for the humane treatment of animals, but present the position in a rational unbiased manner. Videos like this serve to purpose but to insight.
