As for what happened there (in Amona), the clip unfortunately showed only one side of the events. It did not show, for example the settlers throwing concrete bricks at the heads of policemen. It did not show Right-wing politicians using their rights to be anywhere, just in order to become an obstacle (one of those got hit, BTW). In case you missed the numbers, 45 of the 389 injured were cops. That wasn't because the policemen were more brutal, but because they were better protected.

It's a shame that some people think that they're above the law. I feel bad for the children who were hurt and probably scarred for life, but unfortunately a wakeup call was necessary.

In 67 Israel invaded Egypt n' conquared Sinai, in 73 Egypt fought back n' reclaimed Sinai. NOW the important point is that the Egyptian army as I know was just hours away from the capital of Israel at the time, however, president Sadat chose to end the war and proposed peace. It was probably the most clever decision, as the Egyptian army could've gone on invading Israel and destroyin everythin, however, we only took what was ours n' stopped the fight, even though we could've won more. Peace had to be gained through war, in order to free our invaded land.

Now about "ignorant Americans"; more and more, education is being stressed to our military. Our non-commissioned officers in the Air Force will be required to learn a foreign language to progress in rank. One of the languages that's in the scope is Arabic. This scene and this whole situation is a total mess. Average Americans didn't want anything to do with the Middle East before WWII. Only rich Oil companies wanted to be in there. If you want to know the truth, Americans hope that we will find an alternative to Oil, so we can withdraw our interests (and our troops) from the region. Without Oil, the Middle East wouldn't have much in resources except for their struggles that date to Biblical accounts. If Oil wasn't precious anymore, there would be only one of two options: 1) The Middle East would have to focus on technology and product development like Japan to bring in wealth or 2) a lack of education and infrastructure cycled with infighting will leave them as broken and poverty stricken as Africa.

It is a video showing Israeli soldiers removing Israeli inhabitants from a village that was "given back" to the Palestinians if my memory serves me. It was a terrible day, for both the soldiers and the civilians... I saw footage of soldiers being doused in acid, and their skin burning red raw as they rolled around in agony, their mates trying to get rid of the acid with water... This video is clearly censored from that sort of gruesome violence.

I'm an Australian Christian, and I have some different views than most of you on the wars at present. Being half Serbian, and seeing many relatives migrate (sometimes unwillingly) to Australia after carpet bombing campaigns by NATO, the US and other members of the Allies, I can't help but be torn in this whole damn mess. My view on the worlds events to date is democracy has breathed into us all an undying will to see a leader of our country as someone like us. Unfortunately, when you live in a country like the former Yugoslavia, a Serbian Orthodox (Christian) leader will not suffice for the Muslim Bosnians, or the Catholic (also Christian) Croatians, and hence a democracy breeds civil war… It is what we are seeing in Iraq with the two different sects of Muslims, in Ireland with the Protestant vs. Catholics, etc etc.

I'm not for communism or a dictatorship, and I hate terrorism let me get that straight, however is there a better way? Is there a way we can get people of different religions to put aside their differences and believe in a leader different to themselves?
