    most sink clogs are located in the trap under the sink. Most traps are fit together only hand tight, as there is no water pressure in drain lines. Unscrew the trap, (with a bucket underneath) dump its contents, and make sure there is nothing clogged above it (by running a little water). Replace the trap, and you should be clog free. 90% of the time, the clog is in the trap.
