I will give it to them that they have better endurance, but when you have guys that avg. about 6'5" 280lbs there strength will surpass Rugby guys. The HARDEST hits of the Rugby guys are nothing compared to the average hits of football players 280lbs running damn near as fast as one of your Rugby players, to not wear pads would be certain injury and death to any Rugby player.

Now Im all for supporting stuff you like but theres no room for ignorance, and saying Rugby is way tougher than American Football is an example of full blown IGNORANCE.

Being American, but having played and loved the sport for so long, you have a valid point. And usually the injuries are far more severe than ones you get in baseball, basketball and American football. Personally, I think alot of the American football players, as it's soccer in America, are a bunch of pussies. There are some that I admire. But others. A minor injury and they're out for a game. I know, the staff don't want them to further injure themselves, but some of this stuff you can still play with. And they have all the pads and gear. Soccer. You've got shinguards and cleats. That's it.

I love football, but it is becoming a bit of a P***y sport with players diving and going down in 'agony' when getting a knock. You don't really get that in other sports ie Rugby it needs to be taken out of the game.

That´s what I hate on soccer. Sometimes they look like a group of actors, but then I see some really hard attack on knee or ankle and then I realize that they simple MUST act some injuries to calm other players down. That´s all. And excuse my English, I´m from Czech Republic. Like Petr Čech, the best goalman ever!!!

Im an American and i play soccer. I agree that baseball and all those other gay sports dont require skill or talent at all. Including American football. Soccer is where the real talent and skill is needed. It is the most physically and mentally challenging sport, period. And soccer is not a 'P***y sport,' people get injured every game in only high school soccer. I havent had a single soccer season in which one of my team mates didnt break anything. Its tough enough for anybody.

Why try to compare all these sports? They all have some qualities, I agree Football is the most spectacular (what do you expect from Americans, without violence they wouldn't be interested), rugby is for tough guys, charging at eachother head-first without helmets and come on soccer is suggest you look at the ronaldinho clips and you'll see what a great sport it is. so if you don't like a certain sport, than don't watch en shut the f up, ps soccer is the BEST
