yeah the each have to go where they are suppose to on this video because your eyes rentina bases things volume on black and white shades but inside those black and white shades are blue and red , but your eyes decode them into 3D distances

blue one works but with red...:/ what i did is make glasses of paper and instead of plastic i used tape and coloured right side with blue and left with red.. does the tape matters? plz heeeeelp :(((

1. Color both sides of the lenses. inside one direction, allow to dry, flip then color the outside in the other direction to reduce streaks.
2. Use the largest permanent marker possible for fewer lines in the first place.
3. If you still don't like the results find colored gels at your stationary store. (photographers use these too... so you might find full sheets at a photo store)
I colored my lenses and had some pretty good results. I did get the 3d effect with this process. It was not perfectly clear but I managed to see the effect.

this sooo did not work.. the markers make lines when you colored the paper in for the lenses. It may have worked if the markers would dry up as soon as ya colored an area in, but this wasnt the case.

- yep, transparency ok.
He says permanent marker. I tried other markers and they just beaded up on the plastic. I used the flap from a clear plastic box I had sitting round, but he says transparency is what he used.
