    although it is not nessisary to mount the phone inside the interior of the car. You could also just keep the phone somewhere under the hood, near the battery. Simply put it in a ziplock bag or other plastic casing to keep it dry.

      My car has a very high tech LED Neon system under it. Basically neon lights, but i can choose from 12.8 million colors, patters, and synch it with my music. The point of me saying this is that the controler of the system is a plastic box that is under my hood next to my battery. It hasn't melted and has worked fine for years.

    They person who steals your car, does it in the middle of the night and drives it to an all metal garage and tears it apart before you notice your car is even stolen? Like most theives do.....First of all they could discover your phone and smash it OR if they just park they car in their "chop shop" then the signal will be blocked....Good idea...not well thought out

      it is a good point, HotMaleFirefighter, however if this happens i dont think there is a product on the market that will save your car. This is just an alternative idea to what you can buy from the stores.
