    Those knifes dont look forged, but looks like they were just cut out of sheet steel and then grinded and filed, then hardened with the forge.

    You best do some more research about hardening steel or iron.
    Using oil as a quinching agent is very tricky.
    Your lack of safety is surprising. Be careful or you will cleanse the gene pool or burn your home down.
    I suggest you get some adult help. Working on a small balcony is completly unsafe.
