  • I had forgotten that...

I have been a supporter of this film being made way before it was actually filmed and still in story form. I remember getting emails of updates and have always had a facination with how movies are made and was very interested in this story as I grew up in the 80s and remembered a lot of the elements mentioned in this story and was quite excited to hear it was going to be made. I find it quite admireable that Darlene herself put up her house and took out loans to get it done and made sure it was all paid back even without a distrubution deal!!! Not many producers would dare put so much into a film and be so upstanding about it! I found that so admireable and found the protests for this very movie was so surprising as you are just trying to tell this man's story and this didn't deserve to happen to him and certain didn't deserve to happen to this great movie!
