    technology is so getting in the future, soon, these will be better than the full 1080p resolution lcd's and be as big as about 50 inches, and they might take over the lcd's in popularity, but 4 now, even how big those oled tv's would cost F**king 5 grand or so.

    A few years ago i saw they were developing the same thing (not sony) but only on one black layer, guess they made their way to do 3 layers and have colors :P

    Cool stuff. It produces it own light, less power and thin. Next time I need less space for my computer and TV. I can’t imagine how future portable device look like. Gameboy in a piece of paper.

    on the arm of a soldier. He could view layouts of cities, countryside and not get lost on the battlefield. He could get his weather reports instantly. He could view remote camera view from robotic drones. Other soldiers could show enemy postions etc. NICE!
