Did u see the size of that last dent! I guess the moral is don't piss off your cat.
Dude, what kind of cat do u have ? a Lion ?
good one :)))
I applied this technique as shown with force for a sustained period of time. While it pulls some of the dent out, it does NOT pull it out completely. Not good enough to pass as shop work. NO CIGAR
And very logical
I love it, thanks man!
is it me or did the last one seem to get bigger? oh well nice vid but i live in Australia so where can i get dry ice?
this harms both the paint and the metal the dent is a place where metal is stretched in some way using that method u cause the metal to shrink for a momment and after that the metal stays under pressure ... btw dont u guys know anything about metal expanding and shrinking due to the heat ?
Genius just it....
I bought some dry ice at Baskin Robbins today and rubbed it around on the dent on my car for about 5 minutes. Nothing happened. Other than wasting time and getting some cold fingers, not a thing changed.
Fake!!!
of an MX3
just turn a can of air duster upside down and spray the friggin cold liquid on shitheads!
does nobody else see the giant ass dents or spots or w/e it leaves?
look really close...
This is a great procedure if you really don't want all the dent removed. If you look really close you can see that the dent isn't compleetly removed. Don't be fooled you get what you pay for......
i work at pdr mobile (Paintless Dent Removal) we dont use hot ice it dont work the dent comes out a little not all the way
Five Stars. That's quite practical dude. Thanks for sharing!
That is totally awsome, Will be checking out some dry ice on a hot day soon. Thanks
I do paintless dent removal for a living and using dry ice, compressed air does not work. Can't you guys tell the dent was still there? Just goes to show, you guys will believe everything you see.
you can still see dents even after you use dry ice
what about the car paint. does anyone know if it would harm the paint
I am definetely going to try that! Thanks for the tip!
Can normal ice be used?
But a can of compressed air would work, Flip it upside down and spreay the liquid on and around the dent right after heating it up with a hair dryer. so heat first, then quickly cool it down, that streches the metal popping the dent out. The regular ice wouldnt work because ice is around 25-20degree farenhiet and dryice is netative -109 degrees.
with just ice, no dry ice in the uk ? .
No dry ice in UK, same thing with other vdo's can't get the chemicals etc.
There are plenty of Dry Ice suppliers in the UK. You only have to do an Internet search!!!
One of the best videos for a long time.
cant buy dry ice in oz or co2 so find me something else i can buy local
Use a blow drier on a cold day to heat the meatal then take one of those computer air cleaners. U know the things u buy that blows out air from in a can. Turn that upside down and use the liquid nitrogen that shoots out instead of dry ice. Works the same.
If you take a hair dryer to it for about a min. then take a C02 can and spray that on there. it works much better.
I understand the logic and beleive it can work but when I tried and tried, no luck.
plastic or fiberglass dents i think
idiot you must be
Warm the surface in the sun. Older dents can be more difficult, and if the metal is bent or on a formed surface (like a door line, where the dent is on a crease) it won't completely remove the dent, but WILL improve it. Dents that have been in place for an extended period of time (like over a year or so) may NOT come out completely either, due to the fact that the metal has gone through a period of heating and cooling which "sets" the metal memory. Also, use the tip or edge of the dry ice to get into the dent itself, so that you are actually cooling the dented metal, and not just the metal around the dent. Hope this helps!
I've seen the same concept applied in a slightly different manner.. if you apply cold (i.e. buy a $5 air duster from a local store and turn it upside down) source to a dent and then heat it rapidly (i.e. hair drier, torch, etc.) you dent will be improved. It may not be as good as when you bought it, but it's better than when it was dented.
...
5*****
You are a real good man. You safe my car. Thanks a lot.
Great Video!! 5 Stars from me!!
I've been doing Paintless dent removal for 13 years and know hundreds of technicians. None and I do me none of us use dry Ice. The best your going to do is a slight improvement in the dent and ruin your paint job in the long run. The paint will not be damaged at first but will seperate or halo and eventually flake off.
