being different. The dance is freestyle, and the dancers want to add a bit of "edge" to their routine. No one today dresses like the guy wearing the hat and baggy trousers, that's 50's style. So he's adding a bit of "edge" or even quirky fun to the routine. It's the same as the guy with his trouser rolled up. He's having a bit of fun and being quirky.. it's just part of modern urban dance fashion... that's all.
