    Sorry to argue, but if you raced a veyron against mclarens F1 you could let the Mclaren get to 130 mph and set off and easily beat it to 200. so veyron is easily the fastest, ATM! Koenigsegg have crated one a hell of alot lighter than veyron and higher BHP it apparently whips veyron, but lets see!

      This car was soley built to beat the speed record. The McLaren F1 was built as a true track car for the streets and is only 9mph slower than the Veyron.

      The McLaren would smoke the Veyron on the Nurburgring (The true test of an automobile.)

      The Bugatti Veyron is THE fastest production automobile on the planet.

      And as of several years, a few cars have outrun the McLaren F1. The McLaren F1 isn't even in the top 5 fastest cars of the world anymore. BUT, it used to be the fastest... a few years back.
