Behind-the-Scenes - Our Writer/Director, Ken Tipton, has been a life long business entrepreneur. Ken and his partners invented and were franchising the first totally robotic stand-alone videocassette rental system called "The Movie Machine". Ken was forced into personal and business bankruptcy due to bogus obscenity charges brought by a corrupt prosecutor who had been blackmailed by a religious censorship group. The "Movie Machine" was also forced into bankruptcy.

But there was much more going on behind the scenes. A large national video rental chain not only wanted Ken's Video Library stores, but they also wanted to kill the "Movie Machine" from being franchised across the country and hurting their video rental business. Is it possible that they gave money to a religious censorship group to target smaller video chains out of business? Maybe Reverend Donald Wildmon could answer that question?
