the lady said the jetskier nearly collided with the surfer, but if u look the jetskier actually comes off the ski sooo technically it was the jetSKI that nearly hit him

ok, this is how it went down, the guy on the ski had just towed him into the wave, and it also happend to be his first time on the ski. nobody got hurt, and it made like the fist shot in surfer mag like 5 months ago.

  • How slow of a news day is it...

when something like this (a non-incident) is making the news? Good on the surfer though, he ducked and didn't wipe out.

    • hmmm

what about the poor jet skier

      By wadup95 1142363216
    • And why is it called a "near miss?&...

I know that's the common use, but a "near miss" means they almost missed, which would actually be a hit.

    • near miss

depends how you look at it, it was a miss but very nearly a hit. You could say 'it was a close one', but a close what? a close hit? no a close miss. Isnt english a fucked up language!

  • His name is...

Raimana Van Boelster(sp?). The guy on the jetski said that he didnt have much practice on a jetski in later interviews.
