There is a difference
The "good luck" swastika points to the left wheras the German one points to the right which would indicate the reverse of Good luck and that was sure true !

- Sort of...
  Hitler wasn't going for "bad luck" - if anything, he wanted good luck. He adopted the swastika (in it's reversed and tilted form) because it was already adopted by the Thule Society which sponsored the German Workers Party which became the Nazi party. The Thule Society claimed the swastika spawned from the original Aryan nation, many millennium ago.
