In my annual update to include the most recent Best Picture winner (The Artist), this is a celebration of all 84 movies that have won the Academy's top honor ... the Oscar for Best Picture of the Year ... in a brand new arrangement. Since The Artist is the first movie about movies to win the Academy's top honor, this year's video is a breakdown and tribute to the various elements and those craftspeople who have made these landmark motion pictures. From the screenwriters who had the ideas in the first place, to the actors, cinematographers, editors, directors, and more who make the movies possible, it's a celebration of the art of moviemaking that resulted in these 84 movies that have won the grandest honor in all of filmmaking: the Best Picture Academy Award.
