A Navy CH-46 Sea Knight's aft engine bursts into flames on takeoff filling fuselage with flames and smoke. The accident happened during Operation Urban Warrior off the Monteray coast in September 1998 aboard the amphibious assault ship Bonhomme Richard. A leaking transmission line was spraying fluid into the aft generator causing the fire.
