      I am an american and I would like to say that people think in USA that Soccer is gay. I don't know where this idea came from. I dare anybody who says Soccer is Gay to just play it for 10 minutes or even 5 minutes and see for yourself how hard and difficult it is to play and keep up with the ball. It takes real men and athletes to play Soccer plus it is the most popular sport in the world with no doubt. Plus let's say that this goal keeper is gay which I know he is not. I know few American football players who are gay literally, and they were good players so that doesn't mean the sport is gay. Every Soccer player is literally like Lance Armstrong fitnesswise and that's why they look skiny because they run all day long and for 90 play time minutes some times 3 or 4 times a week plus all the training they go through, and to be Honest, if you want to get down to technicallties, American FootBall is literally a pussy version of Rugby, a typical american football team plays only 16 games all year. what a bunch of pussies. they get paid so much to play only 16 games. That's wrong. Plus who said that a sport has to be tough to be considered non-gay in people's eyes. as a matter of fact, most sports are not tough, they just require athlesisim, and if you see Soccer players only pushing each other during a game and not punshing each other which is probably the main reason why Americans think it is Gay is because they are not allowed to by FIFA rules. In professinal Soccer, if you punch a guy in a face you will lose the privilidge to play forever, so here you are making millions of dollars then you punch a guy in the face then you go to make nothing, a lot of players are much smarter than that.       ...realize the competitiveness of all sports, not just the one you favor. I do like that you did not use a "fat man" excuse about football b/c that is all I hear and it is very false. I have played soccer and it is very draining. I have also played football. I only played reciever and cornerback. Both of which are very draining positions. The difference I've experienced between soccer and football is that football involves shor, but intense bursts of speed while soccer involves longer periods of running, but less intense. Fact is, doesn't matter how long you run, but how hard.

      This will be a neverending battle between sports lovers who have never played an organized game of both sports. Moto, this is not a negative comment aimed at you, but it applies to you.
