  • this works only

in places where the soil acidity is high get some fertilizer to boost the acidity high

    • ah, yeh.

Since the first video, I have added a small power garden out in the back yard. adding copper and
wired them all together, using them as the positive side. adding the galvanized rod helps a little, but not enough to make a big difference.
My neighbor, only 4 houses down used 6 copper tubes, and just barely got an led to light.

  • very cool POLLUTER !

Are you proud of yourself dude?
Because behind your energy savings youre are a F**king polluter !
Anybody who saw this and tried should stop it right now, copper is a dangerous pollutant!

30 g of copper sulphate is lethal for any human, wikipedia is your friend !

    • Hmm?

I guess we're going to have to rid the earth of all the copper mines we can find. Maybe we could dig up all the earth's copper, and send it into space.
      rofl : )

  • how long does it last?

it just a matter how long it will take to cover your clean cupper by other chemical elements. batteries work the same way. "recharging" battery is a way to "clean" electrods so they can accumulate other chemical elements again.

    • just wondering

I was just thinking if the depth of the electrods would have any effect on the power output? because if keeping them clean is an issue. then that would create another problem

    • do you mean depth of length?

length would improve power output. depth - hard to say? depends on PH of the soil.

but my point was that such energy is not totally for free - you have to clean once in a while (when they get covered by chemical elements) or change location (when your soil becomes neutral from PH point of view (probably doesn't haveppen very fast)). so if you have to do some manual work you can count that part of the energy comes from the work you do.

anyway: respect for the author for posting such things;) it's very simple thing, but it shows good attitude - getting energy from natural resources.

I ment "copper", or whatever other metal is used for "electrods"

  • hey

this makes me think back of the great scientist tesla. he discovered large amount of energy in atmostphere enough to power the whole world for lets just say very long time. business people considered tesla as a threat so they killed him and burned all his works at least the evidence says his works are burned but there is something fishy about that too.

  • is this a possiblity

that somthing in the house is short circuiting, causing the ground rod to be "hot", and the copper rod is picking up some of the electrons from the "hot" rod?

i cant really see if the ground rod is connected to anything else...coz it has to be for my above theory to work.

im not sure, how this works, im confident that it does tho, just looking for an explaination.

    great video tho 5*

    sleeps right through !
What else can I use it for ?

  • Nice idea

but you will need a pretty long extension cord for your I-Pod!

A more useful application might be to run outdoor lighting.
