Mohamed Anwar Sadat was born on the 25th of December 1918 in the village of Mit Abu El Kom Menoufiya Governorate.
* In 1925 the family moved to live Sadat in Cairo and enrolled at, and graduated from the military academy in 1938 The work of the Camp David negotiations were held in the resort of Camp Diqid from 5-September 1978, which resulted in a peace agreement between Egypt and Israel
