      hey my ps2 silver look different inside, it doesnt have that white round object that lifts the lens up and down..looks so different..i have cleaned the lens and still doesnt work!

    hey this actually does work and tell the other guy that if you can get it unscrew the 4 screws holding the lens thing down and then retighten them because it might be the motor being held down and thats what i did after tryin to fix it how you said but thank you you definately pointed me in the right direction bro you know anything on red rings of death on an xbox ?? you can hit me up on my email mikechilds13@yahoo

    hey i bought one of the first bulky ps2's from flea market for 45. got it home and it wont read disc gives error and makes clicking grinding noise i saw video that said i needed to oil the bars inside the area u was working on but u showed something different im not sure which one to do im a female were not good at these things lol it would be a big help if u can tell me what to do to fix this oh and also someone told me the very first ps2's dont play the newer disc the ones with silver on the back of disc only the ones with the purple look to them is that true they said thats whats wrong with my playstation im getting conflicting storys please help me

    I had a PS2 that hadn't worked for just about 5 years now....your tutorial had it up and running again within 5 minutes! And to think I almost paid 90 bucks for to get it fixed a year ago...I just coiuldn't justify doing so and was really going to just throw it out when I got around to it.       ok the best way is to buy a lens cleaning cloth for camera lenses or blow on it carfully if there is sum dust if it bont work ill think of sumthing else have a nice day and ty for watching

    safe but this can all be done while the power is on, i've even played games with it on and open. just have to have some common sense and not touch anything you dont know... thanks for making the video, i've read it on i-hacked but it was such a pain to follow
