    first off, gateway is no longer gateway. its acer. another thing to add is that its very under powered.
    > 1.6GHz ---- not very strong and would run very well under multiple applications(let alone games)
    > 1g of ram ---- that running on vista... um okay? vista alone is a resource hog, good OS, but very demanding.
    > 100g of hard drive space ---- not very much, most AVERAGE laptops run about 250. higher end run about 350.

    so with the guts not very strong and more than likely the cheapest on the market guts. this computer wouldnt last to see the next 2 years maybe.

    personally, get either a Dell, HP, Toshiba, or Asus(my personal favorite). possibly some other brands out there.

    the average mid-grade laptop usually runs vista with 2.0GHz dual core processor, 3 gigs of ram, and 250 gigs of hard drive space WITH a decent video card.

    this gateway is just crap. dont waste your money unless u want to see it in the trash in the near future.
