It is possible that the track was already ac3. To know for sure when you open the .evo file in EVODemux is spits out information in it's console. One of the things you will notice will be it saying so and so audio found on stream 1. If your stream 0 is dolby digital and not dolby digital plus then you dont even need to convert it.

The file is a dd file and i always get message: File is an AC3.

And im having major probs mit Mui Generator:
When I do the VC1 it says: No sequence-layer just before entry-point

And when i do the eac3 it says: Input Ac3 file does not cosist of an integral number of frames.

Im stuck here damnit

If its a dd file and not dd then its just a dolby digital file. You can just put the exctension directly as .ac3.

Defining level 4.1 has to do with x264/h264 files, this is VC-1. There is freeware program out there that will make your x264 file level 4.1.

it seems the metacafe wmv download is missing the beginning portion was the video posted elsewhere and i just missed it? it is a great tutorial by the way it was exactly what i was looking to do.

Can you make a less blurry video so we can see the process?

as the screen res you doing look quiet high

It is fine for me, but I think metacafe reencodes it. Ill keep trying. I will try to create a written guide to go along with this as well and put it in the details.

Eac3to (Freeware – used to convert .eac3 audio to .ac3 audio) You can use BeHappy freeware tool also
HDBDSplitGUI (Freeware – Used to split the files to fit onto DVD if you do not have a blu-ray burner)
TsRemux (Freeware – Used to remux split .m2ts files that the PS3 will like)
Sonic Scenarist Blu-Ray edition (Not free – Used to create .m2ts from vc-1 video and ac3 audio)
Hex Editor (Freeware – Used to edit playlist)
Nero (Not free – Used to burn onto DVD if you don’t have a blu-ray burner)

MKV isn't one format or another. MKV could already contain VC1 video. It depends on what the video format in the mkv is.

Any follow up on this thread. It looks like parts of it keep getting deleted. Is there still going to be a followup guide with Transformers or even a guide to go with the video.

I will recreate movie with much better quality, but as a side note I have been working on transformers. I got is playing on PS3 but its choppy, so I'm experimenting to get it to play smoothly. Looks like you cannot avoid a re-encode with Transformers because of the way it was encoded using h264 compression and the PS3 not wanting to agree with it.

Yes, you NEED to post a WRITTEN guide as well as this video. I cannot make out hardly anything on the video. I would love to know how to do this if it is possible.

EVODemux

1. Open your .evo file, PEVOB_1.EVO for the main movie.
2. Select only stream 1 for video
3. Select only stream 1 for audio
4. If you want subtitles select subpicture 1
5. Under options in the extensions input boxes put: "vc1", "eac3", and "sup"
6. Select an output folder and hit the demux button

You will end up with a .vc1, a .eac3 and a .sup file if you chose a subtitles file

eac3to

Now you have a vc1 and eac3 file. We must convert the eac3 to ac3 (Dolby digital)

1. Open eac3to in command (dos) prompt and go to where you installed eac3to
2. Type "eac3to.exe filename.eac3 filename.ac3" to convert the eac3 to ac3

If the eac3 file is not in the eac3to folder then either put it there or type in the full path for the argument. ie. "eac3to C:olderile.eac3 C:olderile.ac3"

Now you should have an ac3 file.

Sonic MUI Generator

1. Open the MUI Generator from the sonic utilities folder
2. Browse for the .ac3 file and click create files.
3. Browse for the .vc1 file and click create files

We are now ready to create the blu-ray disc

The part of the guide with Sonic HDMV got deleted. I dont get it what the hell.

if you get dump instance failed you will need a filter dump.ax
save to windowssystem32
and will need to register it
you will need take space out the line below after the as you not aloud word bigger the 20 char
regsvr32 C: Windows System32 dump.ax

I keep reposting and it keeps getting deleted. Heres what I am gonna do. I will make a good quality version once I buy Transfomers, and show how to put Transformers HD-DVD onto blu-ray. :) With that I will post a full text guide.
