i think if you filled the coke can half with say rubber cement.. then you could leave room for liquid, so if someone did pick up the coke and shook it, they wouldnt notice that it is solid inside.. at least until they tried to open it.

Could use other materials that set hard, but filling plaster works well. The weight is good, and it will also set super fast due to some chemical reaction. You can feel the can almost too hot to touch after 5 mins or so, and it is rock hard after an hour. It may depend on what plaster you use tho. Hope this helps ;)

It is actually quite difficult to do it on your own without going through both layers of the can, as explained in the video, especially with a cheap as shit 20 Baht can opener. If you even nick the second layer you have to start again with a fresh can.

If you fill one third with filler its about the same... don't forget the air space, coke weighs roughly the same as water so it about evens out. Try it. You can even put some water inside (Outside the jar) so it sounds like a real can when you shake it.
