Open source products are more reliable than commercial software. This bug belongs to Ms Office 2007 only (earlier versions do not have it)

    Microsoft released a patch for that bug.
    Eitger its a comma either its a point for the decimal separator, the calculation its the same.
    But there its a common bug in ecel 2003 and excel 2007: 1*(0,5-0,4-0,1)=-2,77556E-17

    looks like someone hasn't figured out the small but important difference between a decimal point and a comma..when you do it in calc it's correct because you're inputing 77.1. in xl you put 77,1 dumb ass

      thx for comment ,you are very kind. I use lithuanian regional settings, so comma is used for separating decimals.

      That's a real Office 2007 bug. Try it yourself. (earlier versions of Excel do no have this bug)
