Everclear works very well, burns clean, and lasts a good time.
Just don't drink any before trying to make the stove or it will end up looking like something that fell off a car on the freeway!

Nice idea and very well presented. EXCELLENT! 90% Isopropyl alchohol works great too ( already made one =) or probably Everclear, although I haven't tried that yet, cause I'd probably wind up drinking it...
What about the possibility of fuel leakage from that home made stove? Also,what about the vailidity and durability of the fiberglass? Finaly,what about security of that stove ?
I made this stove EXACTLY as you told me but ended up slicing my arm off with the utility blade!!! Then when i tried to preheat the stove it blew up taking my other arm off!!!!! So i watched the video again and tried it again but this time blew both my fucking legs off !!!!!! 5 STARS

It works surprisingly well.
There are other designs out there, but this one is by far the easiest to make.
Just mix the Heet into the Soda, drink it, and your insides are burned! No need to cook anything.
Ethanol will do that to you.

It does. It actually is more efficient, too It is a bit harder to find for some reason, though.
You can find HEET (Methanol) at almost any gas station.
That way you can get sloshed and have enough left for the stove

I made one of these back in college in my dorm. The shim really helps put the halves together
Even after stretching the bottom lip a little, I had to use the shim to put it together.
You can make a fire :)
But nice, i could see myself camping with no stove and trying to remember the instructions from your video :)
