I haven't seen the video but your blog about why you support Dr. Paul is spot on. I've had to argue with some of my more liberal do-gooding friends about why welfare doesn't work. I think its interesting how people in the military support Ron Paul, and people on welfare support Ron Paul. Two things he never votes for.... hmmmmmmmmmm!

- It is interesting but....
  Being in the military I would have to say even though there are issues I would disagree with him on, I do agree with his stance on welfare. There never will be a perfect candidate but I would never vote for someone who would be so quick to spend my tax dollars on welfare programs and bigger government.

  The purpose of welfare is not for people to live off it and consume our tax dollars. The idea is to temporarily help them so they can keep their house until they have a job. Nobody can permanently live off of welfare. Besides, those people might have kids and where are the kids going to go?
