Microphone/hearing annomylies are intersesting but not unique in the accoustics a big empty room (wind, buildings moving/settling, wooden framed wall expanding and contracting with weather/micro climate of a large building) .. Don't stress the boogyman won't get you

I'm not "stressed about the boogyman". And yes, I know about the movements of buildings and such, but I have had too many experiences to pin everything on that.
