this project is great but the batteries will explode if u hook it up like this
u will need a rechagable batteries or a diod to limit the backward current

Nice and compact,
but that's 3 volts instead of 4.5-5 volts needed for the USB bus. Though you probably wouldn't plug in anything except that phone, whose battery couldn't be damaged by underpowering :D
