  • Flammable liquid

    Can i use deodorant for flammable liquid instead of methylated spirit?

      You can experiment with different flammable sources. Although deodrant is a gas, but if you spray in a bottle it could condese into a liquid. Just give it a try. You must have some sort of flammable liquid lying around somewhere.

  • VERY DANGEROUS!!!! You\'re Not the first...

    Guys be aware that a vacuum can be created that draws the flame back into the chamber. This causes an explosion of gas in the chamber and the fluid bottle.!!! I know this, as I had a good friend terribly disfigured in this way!! I put out the flames on his face with my own hands. PLEASE Don\'t post this kind of stuff on Metacafe... And GOD Please throw that thing away. My friend had 15 years of plastic surgery to recover. Not a joke guys... It haunts me to this day.

      in the chamber, how would there be a huge explosion, since oxygen is needed for combustion

      sorry to hear. As i said in my videos please be carefull when using this flamethrower. Always have a water source ready on standby just in case of an emergency, we had one with a friend occupiying it just in case.

      only use the flamethrower in place that consits of non-flammable materials and is no where near flammable liquids.

      thanks for the heads up chasman123. I've been using this method for many years now without accident so it really depends on how you use it.....PLEASE DONT BE STUPID WITH THESE FLAMETHROWERS.
