where would i get a halogen bulb and how would i know what the voltage rating was? are all halogens 18V? I live in north america, so if you are somewhere else, could you possibly give me a website?

so how do you connect the postive wire to light?

how long does this rig last in terms of battery life (thinking of the goonies movie when the asian kid did something like this with car headlights)

LED's are brighter than incandescent and last longer and use less power than halogen. You can also upgrade your flashlight to an LED one without much more modification than changing the light fixture and buying an LED one to correspond with the batteries you use and vola!

But what about heat? Will it melt the case of flashlight or not?
