Origami Turtle with a 3D feel from a single sheet of paper, without cuts. The first 40 seconds show a finished origami being unfolded, the next 5 mins illustrate some of the folds.
This video is not meant as a 100% "how-to" but rather as a detailled display of how one can go from a square sheet of paper to a detailled turtle.
For the full diagram and explanations, I recommend the book Animal Origami for the Enthusiasts (John Montroll, 1985)

  • Cool, but

    Way too fast. I make origami all the time, and even some really complex stuff like dragons, pegasus etc but this was still way too fast for even me to understand it.

      Thanks for the feedback, the folding part is fast indeed.

      the thing is that I didnt really mean it as a full how-to video, more as a showcase of how one can go from a square sheet to a 3D figure.

      Have a look at the book where this comes from, you'll get all diagrams for 25 models and it's only 7$ on amazon.
